SALT.

Breathe deeper, naturally
A reset button for the body.
Healing for the lungs.
Soothing for the skin.
Grounding for the mind.
Whether you’re managing stress, supporting recovery, or simply craving deeper breaths- halotherapy is a natural way to slow down , clear out and reconnect with your body.
What is Halotherapy?
Halotherapy is a natural wellness therapy that involves relaxing in a salt-infused room while you inhale microscopic salt particles. These dry salt aerosols help cleanse the respiratory system, support skin health, reduce inflammation, and encourage deep relaxation — all while feeling like you’re tucked away in a little seaside hideaway.
Salt is naturally:
Antibacterial
Anti-inflammatory
Mucolytic (helps break down mucus)
Mineral-rich

Sunnie’s Salt Lounge
The moment you step into our living room-sized salt lounge, you’ll notice the air feels different. Warmer. Softer. Almost like a quiet ocean breeze wrapped in a blanket. The walls hold natural Himalayan salt. The lighting stays low, never harsh. You’ll settle into cozy seating, and your nervous system begins to settle too, often before you even realize it. Then your breathing starts to change.
In our space, every inhale feels:
Cleaner- as the salt particles help open the airways.
Deeper- your lungs find space they forgot they had.
Easier- there’s no effort, just natural flow.
Some guests say it feels like their body has been given permission to exhale — fully.
When the lungs relax, the mind soon follows. That’s why our space is deigned not just for treatment but safety, calm and release.
We’ve designed it to feel like a sanctuary that feels like a home. Comfortably quiet, or chatting with a friend — it’s your choice. Everyone is welcome. Sessions can be:
General group
Private bookings
Family-based hours (“Little Lungs”)
Senior special hours (“Salty Seniors”)
What to expect during your Halotherapy session
1. Arriving & Settling In
You’ll be greeted and guided to our salt sanctuary- a cozy soft lit room with natural Himalayan salt walls, and peaceful ambiance. Shoes come off, phones go away (or stay on silent), and the atmosphere takes over. Most people feel their shoulders drop within the first few minutes. Based on our lounge size, we recommend 30-45 minutes for each session.
2. Breathing Becomes Easy - Naturally
As the halo generator begins releasing microscopic dry salt particles into the air, you’ll simply… breathe. That’s all that required. No machines attached to you, no pressure to meditate- just relaxing and letting the salt do the work.
You may notice:
A cooler, cleaner feeling inside the lungs
Cleared nasal passages
Deeper breaths without trying
A gentle “reset” of the nervous system
Some people close their eyes. Others read quietly. Some even fall into a light nap.
3. Your Environment is Crafted for Comfort
You’ll have cozy seating, optional robes or blankets, low lighting, and soft sounds playing. We strive for a space that feels safe, non-clinical, and welcoming at every step.
4. Leaving the Room (Often Feeling Different Than When Your Came In)
After your session, most guests describe feeling:
Lighter in the chest
A little calmer
Mentally clearer
Grounded in their body again
You may notice easier breathing for the rest of the day, and cleaner-feeling sinuses for up to 2 days.
5. Frequency of Visits
Some guests come to relax. Others come for chronic respiratory or skin support. Depending on your goals, halotherapy can be enjoyed:
Occasionally- for stress relief & seasonal immune support
Weekly- for consistent respiratory or skin benefits
As a membership- for theraputic management of ongoing concerns. Or just because you love it that much.
We will guide you based on your needs, our goal is wellness not pressure.
FAQs
Do I need to do anything during the session?
Nope! just breathe and relax. You can sit quietly, read, journal, or even rest your eyes (we offer eye masks to use if you’d like) The salt does the work for you.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing is perfect. You’ll keep your clothes on, no need to change or undress. We do have robes and blankets available for your coziness. We also have a no-shoe policy in the salt lounge. There are slip on sandals for use if you don’t want to wear just socks.
Will I feel or taste the salt in the air?
Some people notice a light natural salt taste on their lips or a little crispness in the air- like being near the ocean. You may feel a little tickle in your throat. Others barely notice it at all.
What kind of salt is used?
On our walls and floors we have pink Himalayan salt bricks, panels and grains. Only 100% pharmaceutical-grade sodium chloride is used in our halo generator. This is ultra-pure salt with no additives, anti-caking agents, minerals, or moisture. It is chosen for its consistency, safety, and ability to penetrate the respiratory system effectively during halotherapy.
What technology do you use for halotherapy?
We use the HaloFX™ by Halotherapy Solutions, a professional-grade halogenerator designed specifically for controlled salt therapy. It grinds pure pharmaceutical-grade salt into microscopic particles and disperses them into the room as a dry aerosol.
Can I bring electronics?
Phones should be silenced and fully dimmed, this is a space for rest. You may bring a book or headphones for gentle music, but most guests prefer to unplug and simply breathe.
How long should I be in there for?
Based on our size lounge, the recommended session time is 35-45 minutes. This duration allows the body to relax while the salt particles work to gently clear irritants, allergens, and toxins from the respiratory system.
Is it safe for kids?
Yes! Halotherapy is safe and gentle for all ages. We offer designated “Little Lungs Hours” where children under 12 are welcome to join with a parent session. The space is calming, cozy and family-friendly during those times.
Can I book the salt room for private use (like yoga or breath work)?
Yes! We offer options for private sessions, small group bookings, yoga, breath work circles, meditation, or quiet gathering space. The Salt room is designed to feel like a peaceful room in the house — so it naturally supports movement, stillness, and intention-based sessions.
We can customize your experience with:
Soft ambient music or near silence
Cushion/blanket setup for floor work
Guided breath work or meditation add-ons
Optional facilitator/ practitioner support
If you’re looking to host a small wellness gathering, let us know — we love collaborating with practitioners and shaping unique experiences.
Do I have to believe in it for it to work?
Not at all. Halotherapy has decades of research behind it, but even without the science, most people simply notice how much easier their breathing feels in the space.
How will I feel afterward?
Common responses include:
Clearer sinuses
Deeper Breating
Relaxed muscles
Better sleep that night
Some benefits — especially lung and skin support — may last 1-2 days after your session.
How often should I do Halotherapy?
It depends on your goals and purpose:
Relaxation/ stress relief- As needed
Seasonal immune support- 1-2x per month
Chronic skin or lung concerns- Weekly or membership
Family wellness- Children’s hours as needed
We’re happy to help guide you when booking.
